EdgeRouter POE Log Monitor Message

Trying to diagnose poor throughput on recently purchased ER POE 5.

Came across this in the Log Monitor.

MBMain0 zebra[443]: warning: interface eth1 broadcast addr 255.255.255.255/20 != calculated 24.243.127.255, routing protocols may malfunction

Any information appreciated.

Re: EdgeRouter POE Log Monitor Message

Could you clarify how the throughput is tested, e.g., topology, utility, etc.?

Re: EdgeRouter POE Log Monitor Message

ISP is Time Warner RoadRunner.
Contract is 15 mbps down, 2 mbps up.
Throughput being checked by speedtest.net and speedtest.texas.rr.com.
Screen shot of ER POE 5 Dashboard attached.
I am attached to ETH4 and downloading Apache OpenOffice.

Thx

Re: EdgeRouter POE Log Monitor Message

Replaced ER POE 5 with 2 year old Cisco RVS4000.
Throughput running at 13.78 mbps down, 1.82 up.
Switched back to ER POE 5, throughput back to poor.

Re: EdgeRouter POE Log Monitor Message

Could you elaborate the key numbers in the screenshot (it's small and hard to see)? Also another thing you can try is "attach" to eth0 instead of eth4, for example connect your laptop directly to eth0, and then try the same test.
