Nanobridge Noise Floor Measurement

In March I purchased my first NSM2locos and in December I purchased another batch for overseas deployment along with 5 Nanobridges. The second batch of locos had poor noise floors (-90 dB) compared to the March locos (-101 dB). It turns out, many others are experiencing this problem. This problem was significant enough that the new locos could not do the job in my production environment, so there's no way I'm toting the December NS2Locos when I get on the plane.

So now my attention turns to the NanoBridge. Table top testing: one as a station and the other as an AP. This reading was observed at default (max) power.




Note that the noise floor for both Nanobridges 2&5 are -90 and -89 dB. Should I be concerened? What are other users observing in the field?

If you have Nanobridges in the field PLEASE, post observed noise floor range, Signal strength and Tx distance..

2x Nanobridge M5 25 (EU version, 00:27 MAC) on productive 0.3 mile PtP link in urban area:

-90dB on the AP, -91dB on STA.

I can't run higher than 10Mhz in the colder temps lately (I was -16 one night this week). Seems to be if I'm above 15 degrees Fahrenheit I can run 20Mhz. If I try to run 40Mhz it will work for a day maybe then just drop off. In order to get the link back I have to drop down the channel width. Both units are new and have 00:27 MACs.
