Rocket m2

Having issues with rocket m2 in AP mode. I recently purchase a rocket m2 with a 2.4 GHz AirMax Base Station, 15 dBi, 120 degrees antenna. I am trying to setup the rocket m2 as an access point to distribute wifi to people at work. I was able to view and connect to the device but the device is not giving an IP address to my clients. I'm sure that my internet connection is ok because i tried setting up a bullet m2 in AP mode and i was able to browse the internet from that device. Can i please get some help on this?

Re: Rocket m2

Set the Rocket radio to 20Mhz channel
width, and turn off AirMAX. Dave

Re: Rocket m2

Nice tip, just the info I was looking for.
Was also in the same boat wondering what setting to change.
Thanks for the head's up.
The Unifi I bought the other day was practically plug-and-play.
Didn't think about setting the channel width to 20Mhz since the other AP I used before didn't seem to mind setting it to 40Mhz - N only.
One thing I'm wondering though.
Why can't I set the RocketM to N only / G only / N or G ?

Re: Rocket m2

It will default to what ever mode CPE associates with it.

Re: Rocket m2

Hey Dave, this worked for me also... Just wondering if you know if it has any consequences to signal strength, or connections speeds? so on and so forth.
