Clock-ubiquiti-rs

Hi, on openwrt forum user has adapet dd-wrt code for to use with openwrt.
I created a makefile for openwrt, you can see ticket here.
You can download package in attached File, or you can build package from svn, download surce code and makefile.
Currently package isn't included in branch, for compile yuo must download surce code e makefile, and follow this steps
cd path_where_is_downloaded_svn
mkdir package/clock-ubiquiti-rs
/*copy in this path makefile*/
makdir package/clock-ubiquiti-rs/src
/*copy here sorce code*/

If package will be officially included in branch, you can found the package in section utils of "make menuconfig".

Re: Clock-ubiquiti-rs

Hi all,
...testing on router station pro.
root@OpenWrt:~# clock-ubiquiti-rs
Usage: clock-ubiquiti-rs mhz
Allowed values for mhz are 200,300,333,400,600,680,720,800

CPU of router station is clocked at 720Mhz, more datils :
root@OpenWrt:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo
system type : Atheros AR7161 rev 2
machine : Ubiquiti RouterStation Pro
processor : 0
cpu model : MIPS 24Kc V7.4
BogoMIPS : 478.41
wait instruction : yes
microsecond timers : yes
tlb_entries : 16
extra interrupt vector : yes
hardware watchpoint : yes, count: 4, address/irw mask:
ASEs implemented : mips16
shadow register sets : 1
core : 0
VCED exceptions : not available
VCEI exceptions : not available

At 720Mhz correspondent BogoMIPS is 478.41. I tryed to decrees cpu frequency and overclock cpu frequency:

root@OpenWrt:~# clock-ubiquiti-rs 400
bootloader rev3 found
write new bootloader
Unlocking RedBoot ...
Writing from /tmp/boot to RedBoot ...
board now clocked to 400 Mhz
root@OpenWrt:~# reboot

After reboot, in cpuinfo file is reported new value of correspondent BogoMIPS is 266.24.
root@OpenWrt:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo

In the end i put at 800Mhz..:icon_mrgreen:

bootloader rev3 found
write new bootloader

Re: Clock-ubiquiti-rs

I have used this as well, but with a single radio with the board inside an enclosure from Netgate, it overheats at 800Mhz. Does anyone know where to get a better heatsink or fan for these (that still allows it to be mounted in an enclosure)?

Thanks!
