airControl2 - Server installation guide for Debian-based Linux systems

Overview


Readers will learn how to install AC2 server on Debian-based systems.

Steps


1: I started with a stripped VM debian squeeze 64bit installation.

1.1: root privileges

sudo -s


1.2: This is to install dependencies packages

apt-get update
apt-get install openjdk-6-jre traceroute iperf


2: Download AC2

wget http://www.ubnt.com/downloads/aircontrol2/aircontrol-v2.0-<version>-ubuntu.deb


2.1 install AC2:

dpkg -i aircontrol-v2.0-<version>-ubuntu.deb


3: Go through the install process. 

Finished!
