New airFiber Link

Here's the first side of our airFiber link. Just got it up today.

If I wasn't working on a 911 digital trunking system at the moment I would be there to. Hopefully this afternoon I can fly mine. I keep playing with my kit last night till 3am on its temp location.

Great. Except for one tiny thing. There are three ports. Management, Data, Console/Audio. All are CAT5.
When attached to the SIDE of a roof like this one is it is nearly impossible to get under the antenna to read which is which :manhappy:

I agree with reading the display... We I temp mounted it I had to almost hang upside down to read it. It would have been nice to have it on the side but its workable. I would hate to look a link due to water migration like I have seen on a few bullets / nb's.

But still very happy with the gear

Or you could use a mirror... had to do that with all the old dish mounted trango cpe's back in the day.

LOL Yup... although, I guess technically the airFiber has two radios in it for full duplex... so maybe you were right with 6 :manhappy:

Are you saying you did a half @#@ installation?
BTW my 1.5 mile link running 600x2 for over 3 hours so far. The office has not called and reported smoke yet. I have it running an iperf script over and over and over and over
I was using my rb1100x2's and its built in test but it was maxing the mt's to their knees.
I need something faster ubnt!!!!

OK... the link is up and so far has excellent results.
Here are some tower pictures. As you can see on the second picture, we had to give it some massive downtilt because this is a free standing tower.... but no biggie. It's working great so far.
