Re: Maximum Distance for POE

I found the NanoStation M2 POE adapter O/P : DC 24V, 0.5 A

The behind "A" got different, will it make the distance different ?

if youre going to have network on the cat cable you can have the maximum of 80 meters sometimes newer switch cant detect the ethernet on them if you really need it badly the network you can use an old network hub so that it can detect the ethernet connection of your radio

Re: Maximum Distance for POE

You can use either 24V 0.5A or
24V 1.0A--either will be fine. Dave

"A" stands for Amps.

The 24 volt .5 A PoE is good for one radio.
The 24 volt 1 A PoE is good for two radios or radio and camera when using the Nanostation's secondary port.

The 24 volt 1 A PoE can be used instead of a 24 volt .5 A PoE.

Re: Maximum Distance for POE

Yes. Same distances apply to all radios.
