Aggregation

I know aggregation is used for mixed-mode environments, so the question.
Is ubiquity N, pure N greenfield mode while airmax is enabled?
If so, can I disable aggregation in AM ptmp to improve overheads ?

Hey Dino0,

The devices use N Mixed mode only. This is there for connectivity for legacy devices as well. Aggregation is part of the N Protocol and is what helps boosts speeds. In an all N network aggregation must be left on to see the protocol beneifits.

If you are interested in N only mode, you should use an all AirMax network, with AirMax enabled.

Re: Aggregation

Our network is full AirMax enabled. I Wonder if aggregation enabled detects AM and auto switches off?

I'm not sure what are you asking and looking for, but as Mike said, aggregation is a part of 11n protocol. Disabling it you will lose all it's benefits. Nor AirMax, nor aggregation does disable/enable each other automatically.
