I really would liek to see the end of Self-signed certs and implemnetion of for EdgeOS.

This would be great move in right direction for out of the box SSL.

This is in the UniFi suggestions. Move to EdgeMAX instead?

Of use to the Unifi controlle. Could easily be integrated in the UI as it requies just the domain name and an email adress to register

+1 for let's encrypt on the unifi controller.

A way to auto generate and install a LetsEncrypt certificate directly from the UI, in the same way that the Synology NAS does it, would be awesome. If it could auto-renew, that would be even better! Right now, it's embarrassingly hard to install a certificate.

This feature should probably be in both EdgeMax and UniFi.

How would work work/help people using this without a public facing domain? Letsencrypt won't work because they won't issue certs for IPs (It's against the RFC). For those of us that care about security, use Corporate/Internal self-signed and not put trust in a third party to CA your systems. How do you fancy getting LetsEncrypt to issue you a cert for What I'm really interested in seeing is the ER range providing UI to upload server certs like the ES line does. UniFi Controller also needs a UI option.
