Edge Router Pro Webproxy And DHCP Access Logs

Dear all,

I want to log,

1. All dhcp leases with proper timestamps.

2. URL traffic passing through squid web proxy and blocking categories. Which client, to where, when, which category blocks him?

And where can I find the log files inside 4 Giga flash?

Thanks and regards.

Is there any way of logging all the urls that users going to? The "blacklist.log" file keeps only ones that bloacked by a category and redirected. We also want all the succeded accesses also.

Re: Webproxy Access Logs

configure
set service webproxy enable-access-log
commit
save
exit

But be aware that will do a LOT of writes to flash.

Re: Webproxy Access Logs

Thanks for the config but this is already active. When I look at blacklist.log, I only see the blocked user requests, not all of them.

Re: Edge Router Pro Webproxy And DHCP Access Logs

@UBNT-stig any chance that the edge pro can use a usb-stick and put all logs on this like :

insert USB-16GB

configure system all logs /mnt/sdb1

that you have not to many writes on intern emmc

regards

Re: Edge Router Pro Webproxy And DHCP Access Logs

This is awesome! I'm glad I stumbled accross this thread.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but would it be possible to remote log either of those logs?
