EdgeRouter Pro - SQUASHFS error: Unable to read fragment cache / page block

Greetings guys,

I have an EdgeRouter Pro which suddenly stopped working. I connected to the Serial port, and I am seeing:

SQUASHFS error: squashfs_read_data failed to read block 0x1451786
SQUASHFS error: Unable to read fragment cache entry [1451786]
SQUASHFS error: Unable to read page, block 1451786, size becc

Any help appreciated!

So here is what I did, and their output:

1) unplugged the power, plugged it back in. (same SQUASHFS error)

2) runtime reset (same SQUASHFS error)

3) power-on reset (output of this below)

Re: EdgeRouter Pro - SQUASHFS error: Unable to read fragment cache / page block

That looks like the flash memory is dying.

Re: EdgeRouter Pro - SQUASHFS error: Unable to read fragment cache / page block

I ran into similar error few months ago, but I was able to get it up and running by doing a "power-on reset". But this time, it is no go. Did the "power-on reset" bunch of times.

Re: EdgeRouter Pro - SQUASHFS error: Unable to read fragment cache / page block

If someone from Ubiquiti Staff can assist, that will be great.

I purchased the unit from Newegg.com on March, 11, 2015. So I seem to be out of the 1 year warranty. I do not want my $345.99 router to be a big paper weight. Please advise what can be done.

Thank you.
