pppoe best way to create a new route table

Hi,

what is the best way to create a new route table (to be used in firewall) by specifying one pppoe connection that has all dynamic? (first hop, local ip address, gateway and everything is dynamic)

Re: pppoe best way to create a new route table

pppoe interface is point-to-point, so the route can just be an interface-route.  No need to specify a gateway.

You'll probably need CLI (or config tree) to add routes to new tables

Re: pppoe best way to create a new route table

Thanks

yeah, that seems to be working

protocols {

    static {

        table 1 {

            interface-route 0.0.0.0/0 {

                next-hop-interface pppoe0 {

                }

            }

        }

        table 2 {

            interface-route 0.0.0.0/0 {

                next-hop-interface pppoe1 {

                }

            }

        }

    }

}
