What's the best configuration?

We're just about to finally install our first EdgePower and use it in configuration with the EdgePoint S16.

In terms of power, just want to layout what config we have done and whether it makes sense.

one EdgePower with the 150W PSU connected to the mains power

the battery PSU plugged in with two 12V batteries connected to each other, second PSU in standby and on charging battery mode.

Is it s OK to charge the batteries all the time?

thanks

Yes, it's designed to float-charge the batteries.   24V battery string will work OK;  you'd get more run time with 3 or 4 batteries, plus the efficiency goes up with the battery string voltage - we run all ours at 48V for that reason.

Your sertup should work fine.
