Active-backup bonding and hardware offload

I'm considering buying an edgerouter infinity to try as a core router. I see that LACP/802.3ad-style bonding disables hardware offload per https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006567467-EdgeRouter-Hardware-Offloading but we're interested in an active-backup configuration like for vyos https://wiki.vyos.net/wiki/User_Guide#Bonding. Is active-backup supported and if so, does using it disable hardware offload?

Whatever the answer is, I assume we could confirm that for ourselves once we have one by running "show ubnt offload" ?

As of beta 2.0 bonding is offloaded.

Re: Active-backup bonding and hardware offload

Thanks. How does that interact with VLANs - for example if I had

eth0--\

       |--bond0---bond0.VLANA

eth1--/

Would bond0.VLANA have offloads enabled still? If not, is there a way of stacking that would work?

Not sure, I think I seen a post saying it currently doesn't work with vlan. But it is still beta....
