Re: BGP - received route for 0.0.0.0/0 not populating IP route table, overridden by static route

So my issue was actually related to a VPN issue.  Once I fixed that my peers started showing up.  Thanks again and please don't forget to post your fix for others.  Its a WAR out there!!

Re: BGP - received route for 0.0.0.0/0 not populating IP route table, overridden by static route

I believe this is what happened:

1) I was able to delete the static route but I can't recall how i.e. if I tried a different command, tried it from the UI/CLI first then the other way or?

2) I didn't have weighting on my as-path-prepend statements i.e. the weighting was identical for both of my upstream neighbors.  Setting the weights to be different, along with my deleting the static route, resulted in the 0.0.0.0/0 appearing in our ip route output with the B code:

IP Route Table for VRF "default"
B *> 0.0.0.0/0 [20/0] via a.b.c.d, eth0, 34w4d01h
