Bug Resolving router hostname

Hey all,

Might just be me but I think I found a bug with the dhcp hosts file. When you set it to auto-update and actually use hostnames to resolve hostnames it will work for all hostnames, except for the router's hostname. Since the hosts file explicitely say's 127.0.0.1 every computer pinging the hostname, will ping it's own localhost. DOH! Any way to change this, even more so since the hosts file is read only and cannot be changed. Could do some screenshots but don't think that's needed. Kind regards, Natrixz

Re: Bug Resolving router hostname

Yeah as discussed before, for the router itself, you can use the "override-hostname-ip" setting to override the localhost IP address, e.g.:

set system ip override-hostname-ip 192.168.1.1
