That is what I thought. My issue was not setting the DNAT and SNAT rules properly to work together, so when I read your sample rules it started to click. Though in my deployment I didn't assign a second IP to vtun0, but instead configured the DNAT rule with the source directive specifying the print server.

I would like to blame the lack of sleep and recent non-stop fires I have had to put out over the past couple days as why it took so long to figure this out. However I have a feeling I would have stumbled along regardless.
