ER-12 with a BRIGHT POE light!!

[ Edited ]

I just wonder if someone else has this issue.  When I turn on the POE out on port eth9, the LED is so bright it lights up the room!!  Is this a defect in the unit or can it be corrected with firmware?

UBNT guys - should i get an RMA on this device or can this be corrected?  With it being that bright, i'm afraid it will burn out or cause issues with the device.

Been tracking the temps:

They don't appear to be so bad.  My concern is it will burn out or cause some other issue

Temperature

CPU 59.00 C Board 1 53.31 C Board 2 41.75 C PHY 1 66.87 C PHY 2 57.50 C

UBNT - Do i need to get a RMA since I've had this unit 2-3 weeks??

Likely the current limiting resistor on the LED is shorted. The LED will likely burn out eventually. Should not cause general harm to the router but you should RMA it if you can.
