ER4 - 100% cpu - acpid sshd

[ Edited ]

Hello all,

I have an ER-4 out in the field acting a little crazy.  The router reports disconnects (im assuming the IPSEC tunnel is dropping) through UNMS but the uptime on the device is 7 days.  Each time I get a message from UNMS, it states the router has disconnected and CPU 100%.  I just ssh'd into the router and here is what I am seeing for CPU usage,

mendonCPUusage.JPGER-4 100% CPU USAGE - IPSEC TUNNEL DISCONNECTING

Any thoughts?

Re: ER4 - 100% cpu - acpid sshd

Considering EdgeOS does not even have a binary '/usr/sbin/acpid' I would question whether your router has been compromised.

I also see a process 'daemon.mips.mod' in your output which also does not exist on EdgeOS.

I noticed that both (and a pair of 'sshd' processes') are running as user 'ubnt', while your top is running as user 'admin'.  Did you leave the default 'ubnt' user in place and enabled?
