ER4 to ATT gateway- site can't be reached

Hi, I'm stuck and would appreciate some assistance.

I have ATT fiber with a Arris BGW210-700 router.  IP passthrough is enabled, firewalls are disabled, packet filter is off.

Behind it I have an ER4.  It shows connected to the internet and my computer shows that it has internet access, but no websites are resolving.

What am I doing wrong?

It shows that you have a valid Public IP address?

How did you configure the router, did you use a Wizard, or manually?

You specifically say "no websites are resolving" - does that mean you can Ping external IP address but not resolve DNS names? If so, what server are you using for DNS?

Forgot to mention I have an ES-24-lite between my computer and the ER4.

Re: ER4 to ATT gateway- site can't be reached

Yes, on the dashboard for internet eth0 it shows a public IP. I used a wizard to configure.

Ok, so I had entered 1.1.1.1 as DNS and wasn't able to ping it. Entered 8.8.8.8 and was able to ping. Restarted network interface and sites are now resolving!

Not sure why Cloudfare DNS wasn't working but thanks!

No problem! 1.1.1.1 is a tricky one, it's been mis-used in a lot of places in the past causing it not to be reachable from some places.  Not your fault, most likely your ISP!
