I have a EdgeRouter Lite v1.10.7 with Verizon FIOS 1gig service. I have a cat6 cable from the ONT to the Router yet wired speed out of the router is 150-200mbps. When I hadline test the ont driect to the Computer I am getting 956mbps/904mbps. As soon as the ONT plugged into the router and I hardwire to the router I get cut down to 200 or less. I have LAN1 on Eth0 and ONT on ETh1.
I have no special settings other then forwarding, I have traffic analysis off.. and firmware is current. Anyone have any Idea why I would be getting a fraction of the connection when I route through this router . Oh I also tested the ONT through a Nighthawk X10 and the speed was in the 800's

I did not, I had a very hard time figuring out how to even set this router up to start with.... I see the command . set system offload ... is there some variable I should be putting in where the ... is ?

Try this, connect via SSH and issue
configure set system offload ipv4 forwarding enable commit;save
Then, reboot the router, and check the throughput. Basically, you should enable the offload for the features that you use, the above should work, but if eg, you have pppoe on the wan, you may need to enable the offload on pppoe as well, as in the linked article (in the Cavium section).
