EdgeRouter Lite - Devices have no internet access

[ Edited ]

I'm a computer networking student and I can't for the life of me get internet access on devices attached to the router. Here's my network setup and configuration. The EdgeRouter can ping google.com. Both workstations can ping 192.168.0.2 but not 192.168.0.1 and can't reach the internet. Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: EdgeRouter Lite - Devices have no internet access

I would add Eth1 to your DNS fowarding

How is NAT configured?   I don't see NAT in the configuration

   It usually shows up after "gui" if you do the "show configuration" command

like this:

    nat {
        rule 5010 {
            description "masquerade for WAN"
            outbound-interface eth0
            type masquerade
        }

Re: EdgeRouter Lite - Devices have no internet access

When asking for assistance you should post your full config. If that's all of your config, re-run the Wizard and post full config. There's lots of stuff missing.

Re: EdgeRouter Lite - Devices have no internet access

That is the full config I have. My model is the ERLite-3 and I haven't seen anywhere that I can access a "wizard". I've seen it in a few of the help docs referred to as "click the wizard tab" but I don't have one of those.

Re: EdgeRouter Lite - Devices have no internet access

BgbRu thanks for your super helpful reply! I added eth1 to port forwarding and put in a source NAT masquerade rule and now my computers can reach the internet.

Re: EdgeRouter Lite - Devices have no internet access

GREAT!!!

You may be on an older firmware, the newer firmware have the newer "wizards" and such
