Port Forward Priority

I have a ERL setup at the office. Everything is functioning. The VPN service is currently being handled by a NAS device. so the IPSec ports are forwarded to the NAS, along with the firewall is opened up for those ports on the Wan_In side.

Now with that being said can I program the VPN into the router and leave the port forwards setup and it will route to that NAS and when i am ready remove those forwards and test, and if it does not function as intended, put the forwards back in place to have the NAS take back over. Or does the VPN setup process take precidence, and no matter what the port forwards say?

Re: Port Forward Priority

Yeah you should be able to test it that way (port forward would be done first).
