Update to v1.5.0 fails (Upgrade image does not support the device)

My ERPoE is current running v1.5.0rc1, as shown here:

admin@ubnt-er-poe:~$ show version
Version: v1.5.0rc1
Build ID: 4675120
Build on: 06/11/14 18:21
Copyright: 2012-2014 Ubiquiti Networks, Inc.
HW model: EdgeRouter PoE 5-Port
HW S/N: 24A43C3D7EED
Uptime: 20:47:44 up 12 days, 33 min, 1 user, load average: 0.08, 0.03, 0.05
admin@ubnt-er-poe:~$

When I try to update to v1.5.0, the download seems to fail (only 316 bytes seem to be downloaded) and the router reports "Upgrade image does not support the device":

add system image http://www.ubnt.com/downloads/firmwares/edgemax/v1.5.0/ER-e100.v1.5.0.4677648.tar
Version [v1.5.0beta2.4671289.140529.1106] is about to be replaced
Are you sure you want to replace old version? (Yes/No) [Yes]:

I've tried it multiple times. There is disk space available:

When I use the same URL in my browser, it works fine. Any idea about what could be the cause of this?

Yeah actually this has been discussed earlier and we could add a command-line option for curl to support redirect. Thanks for the feedback.

Because it's not the real URL pointing to the file? Your browser is probably doing some script execution/redirection job then fetch the file via the real URL.

Yeah, that's not handy at all as you have to DL the file, see the real URL, then give the URL to your ERL for it to DL again the file but by itself this time...

Or there is some good alternative?

Re: Update to v1.5.0 fails (Upgrade image does not support the device)

Found out the real URL: http://dl.ubnt.com/firmwares/edgemax/v1.5.0/ER-e100.v1.5.0.4677648.tar

It would be very useful if EdgeOS itself would also follow redirections, etc., in the same way is wget does, for example.

I see the same thing when using wget to grab the link, try downloading to your computer and then upgrading from that copy of the file.

As said before, wget is clever enough on my system to deal with the redirect:

mac:~ user$ wget -V
GNU Wget 1.15 built on darwin13.0.0.

+digest +https +ipv6 +iri +large-file +nls +ntlm +opie +ssl/gnutls

Wgetrc:

Locale:
    /opt/local/share/locale
Compile:
    /usr/bin/clang -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
    -DSYSTEM_WGETRC="/opt/local/etc/wgetrc"
    -DLOCALEDIR="/opt/local/share/locale" -I. -I../lib -I../lib
    -I/opt/local/include -pipe -Os -arch x86_64
