WebSocket Error in Safari

Well this is a new error I don't recall ever seeing before.  Upgraded an ER to 1.4.0 and now I get WebSocket errors trying to get into the web UI:

Re: WebSocket Error in Safari

The message means the stats/CLI/etc. in the Web UI won't work due to the WebSocket issue. Also the message has been updated in 1.5 to be more clear on how to resolve it (more information here).

Re: WebSocket Error in Safari

Hi @UBNT-ancheng I tried accessing the link but it says access denied.  Is there any sort of privilege to check the link?  Is there another link to check out the solution?

Thanks

Re: WebSocket Error in Safari

The post is in the beta forum. You can request access, instructions are elsewhere on the forum.

Basically, use CMD+Q to kill Safari and then launch agian. When the security prompts comes up about the SSL, click the always trust check box before clicking continue.
