load balancing fail back high CPU (again)

[ Edited ]

ERL3, OS 1.9.7h4

I have my ERL3 configured with 2 WANS but currently only one is available.

I got rid of ubnt-find-gateway because of excessive CPU consumption.  (I've read the threads suggesting running it 1 in 60 times).

I removed the /etc/cron.d/ entry pointing to unms.pl (The GUI still manages to run that one nevertheless) because I don't use it and don't plan to use it.  That was the top cause of high CPU.  And yes UNMS is disabled so I don't know why this script is still being run.

Now, ubnt-add-connection has popped in and is causing also high CPU

Discovered that running ubnt-find-gateway 1/60 isn't such a good idea.  It won't recover when pppoe0 is back.  Modified the script to nice it instead.

Learned it the hard way.  Internet was unavailable 59/60 between 4AM and 1PM when I edited the script.

#!/bin/bash
/bin/nice /usr/sbin/ubnt-find-gateway.pl2 $*
exit $?
