[ Edited ]

I see bad information in SFP Information (EdgeSwitch 16 XG):

Re: Fiber Ports Information in 1.7.4 , 1.8.0 (EdgeSwitch 16-Port 10G)

The problem persists in version 1.8.0

In version 1.8.1 still the same...
Do I still have to write about it?
Does anyone read this?

Re: Fiber Ports Information in 1.7.4 , 1.8.0, 1.8.1 (EdgeSwitch 16-Port 10G)

I see similar behavior, only on ES-16-XG switches.  The fiber ports on others appear to be reported OK, including the SFP+ ports on ES-48s.

As one example:

(EdgeSwitch16XG) >show fiber-ports optics-info all

                         Link Link Nominal
                       Length Length Bit
                         50um 62.5um Rate
Port Vendor Name [m] [m] Serial Number Part Number [Mbps] Rev Compliance
-------- ---------------- --- ---- ---------------- ---------------- ----- ---- ----------------
0/1 10Gtek 0 0 CAB-10GSFP-P1M 10300 V01 Unknown
0/2 10Gtek 0 0 W C 10300 V01 Unknown
0/3 10Gtek 0 0 WTS31H80134 CAB-10GSFP-P3M 10300 01 Unknown
0/4 10Gtek 0 0 W CAB-1 10300 V01 Unknown
0/5 10Gtek 0 0 WTS31H80176 CAB-10GSFP-P3M 10300 01 Unknown
0/6 10Gtek 0 0 WTS31H80127 C 10300 V01 Unknown
0/12 UBNT 0 0 FT18051608547 UF-MM-10G 10300 Unknown

Ports 0/1, 0/2 above are 1M DAC to an ES-48-500

Ports 0/3, 0/4, 0/5, 0/6 are all 3M DAC to Intel X520s

Port 0/12 is a UBNT UF-MM-10G to another UF-MM-10G in an ER-8-XG.

Note that the above output will actually change over time, with the part numbers jumbled (IE: UF-MM-10G may be reported in an entirely different port), serial numbers jumbled (again not matching the ports), etc.

For the same switch above:

(EdgeSwitch16XG) >show fiber-ports optics all

                                    Output Input
Port Temp Voltage Current Power Power TX LOS
[C] [Volt] [mA] [dBm] [dBm] Fault
-------- ---- ------- ------- ------- ------- ----- ---
0/1 0.0 6.553 N/A N/A N/A No No
0/2 0.0 6.553 N/A N/A N/A No No
0/3 0.0 6.553 N/A N/A N/A No No
0/4 0.0 6.553 N/A N/A N/A No No
0/5 0.0 6.553 N/A N/A N/A Yes No
0/6 0.0 6.553 N/A N/A N/A No No
0/12 40.5 3.332 N/A N/A N/A No No

The TX Fault on 0/5 will come and go, and may be reported on other ports occasionally.  IE: I don't believe it to be a real fault, and the port is working well without errors (nothing reported on either side of that link)

The power details for even UBNT's own UF-MM-10G module are also unreported.  This would be the only row I would expect such information (the others are DACs), but I would have expected at least this row to be populated.

Yes, I confirm. The problem is only with ES-16-XG switches.
