Option to resolve GPS via mobile app

Mostly our technicieans were using mobile phones for thier normal day work. Most of the Clients GPS locations were wrong, please add the feature to resolve the GPS via mobile app.

Hi, what exactly do you mean? To resolve GPS based on
A) the client's address
B) by the current location of the technician
C) manually by dragging the pin on the map.

I assume you mean B?

A) the client's address. Mobile app doesn't have that function.

Your clients gps locations are wrong due to google maps resolves the address wrong when client is created

 

 

There is nothing UBNT can do about that as it's Google's issues

 

What needs to happen is 

 

 installer or office admin needs to place map drop pin where client actually is

 

@UBNT-Petr

 

Needs to have his App dev team add a Google maps link in the UCRM Mobile app based on where the map drop pin is not the address

 

 

And add the ability in the UCRM mobile app to set the map drop pin based on phones location for quicker and more accurate client setups

Yes, But we have on-field technicians , they will visit customer location during troubleshooting. Office peoples dont know about the exact location of Client. so we will resolve the location, once the tech reached the client's home.

That's exactly what I'm saying in the last part of my last post

 

Update the client map based on installers phone location

 

 

If you just say resolve GPS location UBNT will just think your talking about resolving the address and UCRM already dose this when the client is created

 

That's why there was confusion about your request
