UCRM Backup file restored to Server with Different IP issues

[ Edited ]

@UBNT-Petr

I restored a backup file to a new server

old server was at 172.19.2.3 new server is at 172.19.2.1

the new server has an FQDN with let's encrypt working

I have the FQDN and new Server IP set correctly in domain/system/settings/application

BUT

when I try to enable google calendar sync its calling for the IP of the old server

and I get this error

This site can’t be reached

172.19.2.3.nip.io refused to connect.

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

as you can see something in the UCRM config still thinks its on its old IP with old PORT

where else do I need to update this information?

Re: UCRM Backup file restored to Server with Different IP issues

So what were the steps you did?
1) installed new UCRM
2) restored old backup file in the new UCRM
3) you changed the IP, port in the new UCRM config
4) you enabled google calendar sync and get the error

Is that right?

Re: UCRM Backup file restored to Server with Different IP issues

@UBNT-Petr

Mostly Correct

Backed up config on Private UCRM server

built new UCRM server with new private IP for our Public server

Restored Config backup from old private server

config had old server IP settings changed in the UCRM GUI

setup FQDN and lets encrypt

waited a week for FQD to work with the worlds DNS

tried to setup calendar sync in UCRM and it errors out with the IP of the OLD PRIVATE UCRM server

is it the docker I need to update? how do I check?

Re: UCRM Backup file restored to Server with Different IP issues

thanks, we will check it out.
Meanwhile, as a hotfix you may try to just restart UCRM.

Re: UCRM Backup file restored to Server with Different IP issues

Hello @900mhzdude, the URL for Google Calendar sync is actually configured in Google API console, if you changed your URL, you must change it there as well. Go through the "Setting up Google OAuth access" guide - https://ucrm-demo.ubnt.com/help/google-oauth, you should be able to change it just for your credentials, if it's not possible just delete the old credentials (in Google API console) and create them again with correct URL using steps from the guide.
