Re: UCRM - General Info

@iLevac For now, UCRM doesn't comprise Radius. You can use UCRM for billing now but you will probably not use the current suspension feature.

Note that UCRM provides API which can be used to retrieve any information about your clients and services and this can be used to set up what you need (for radius, for suspending on a router of any vendor, etc.)

FYI, Radius will be added to UCRM through the integration with UNMS (the successor of AC2)

Re: UCRM - General Info

It depends significantly on another project - UNMS but the rough estimate could be late Q3 2017 (prone to changing)

what about controlling/monitoring Edge Switches and Tough Switches?
Niether UNMS or Aircontrol cater for them.

nevermind, on the UNMS Roadmap

Re: UCRM - General Info

It looks as if there is:

UCRM - Billing, shaping, suspension
UNMS - All I'm seeing is control of Ubiquiti routers and switches(Maybe there is more to it?)
AirControl 2 - Control of Ubiquiti (Only!) radios

It seems to me that UNMS should be rolled into AirControl 2 - routers and switches just don't show up in the network control that AC2 does a reasonable job of.

It's all a bit confusing...

Re: UCRM - General Info

Hats off to UBNT

I use AirControl2 for FREE

Unifi Voucher Software for FREE

and now UCRM for FREE.

My only surprise is that UBNT did not "lock in" only UBNT equipment users, for UCRM.

Re: UCRM - General Info

Can we run UNMS with UCRM within the same server or is it recommended to keep them seperate?

Re: UCRM - General Info

Yes, you can run both on the same server. They are designed to run together. Note that both tools use port 80/443 by default, but you will be asked to provide an alternative port during the installation process.

The system requirements of UCRM and UNMS are not high, please check the requirements on https://unms.ubnt.com/ and https://ucrm.ubnt.com/ anyway.

Re: UCRM - General Info

I am looking for something that explains the relationship between UCRM, UNMS and AirControl.

Thanks

Re: UCRM - General Info

I am sure someone will jump in, if I am wrong but my understanding is that UNMS will take over from AirControl. UCRM will do all the billing and process payments. UCRM will control the turning on and off of CPE's etc via UNMS.

PS last time I looked they had not intergrated UNMS and UCRM yet, so as an interim measure you had to use UCRM to control the CPE's etc.

Re: UCRM - General Info

yes, exactly.

UNMS is a new successor of AirControl, incorporating network management of all UBNT devices eventually (not only airOS devices managed in AirControl).

UCRM is billing and customer management tool. Only minor network monitoring and control features are incorporated here (such as Suspension of late payers)

Our plan is to integrate UCRM and UNMS and provide you with a single platform for managing both the business and the network. Read more here: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UCRM-Complete-WISP-Management/UCRM-integration-with-UNMS/m-p/1919207#M...

Re: UCRM - General Info

Thanks for the update and pointing me to the roadmap.

We have deployed AC 2.1 beta 9 for our call center to use, what is the future of AirControl?

[ Edited ]

So UCRM and UNMS + a server and EdgeRouters/MikrotTik routers (eg)

=

Powercode solution (ie, server software + Bandwidth Management Units + ongoing cost)?

I like where this is going, if I'm understanding it at all

Re: UCRM - General Info

Hello, ubnt.

Change the currency name for Belarus.
Your currency is BYR, it's old.
Now the currency of BYN is used in Belarus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belarusian_ruble
10 000 BYR = 1 BYN.

Fix it pls.

Re: UCRM - General Info

Hello everyone, I have a couple of question:

Actualy I use WHMCS for my billing, that way to much complicated for just reccuring billing. I have import my customer succesfully but I want to import all customer invoice and payment history.

I know I can import Customer and paiement but for the invoice can acces the database directly to modify all my data? Like a phpmyadmin for mysql or use raw commande in  terminal server?

and want are the database that use by UCRM?

Also I don't keep recorde of my customer credit card number but I actualy use Stripe, I have all my Stripe customer number, can I add them manualy on there account?

Last queltion, can I change the top left logo in the portal to show my compagny logo.

Thank you

Eric

Re: UCRM - General Info

Hi @synertic

1) There is no import for customer invoice but you can use UCRM API for creating them: https://ucrm.docs.apiary.io/#reference/invoices/clientsidinvoices/post

However, note that this import just creates a simple invoice with simple items not related to any client's services. So it would work for a record of old invoices but not for the recording of billing process for client's service periods.

2) The UCRM database can be accessed but it's not recommended to modify its data. You should use API instead for these data imports https://ucrm.docs.apiary.io/

3) Currently, it's not possible to import Stripe tokens into UCRM. The subscriptions must be created manually in UCRM. However, you may upvote and comment this feature request which could work for you as well: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UCRM-Feature-Requests/Charge-with-Stripe-via-API/idi-p/2302845

4) Yes, you can modify the icon in System  > Customization > Appearance
