UCRM high CPU usage after Ubuntu server upgrade

Hello, I have got upgraded OS Ubuntu 16.04LTS to 18.04LTS.

After successfull upgrade I have turned on UCRM, but whole my server goes down due to very high CPU usage. I was waiting about 10 minutes, then I could connect via ssh and turned off UCRM.

I have upgraded UCRM with the script from page

https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000994708-UCRM-Installation-Guide

After start the same situation. CPU with high usage, server unavailable.

Please could you help me how to solve this situation? Right now I have got uninstalled UCRM, but I do not want to lose my data.

Thanks, Merry Christmas, Michal

P.S.: UNMS works great on the same machine.

P.S.2: UNMS and UCRM uses own docker.

Re: UCRM high CPU usage after Ubuntu server upgrade

So issue was caused by turned off swap. I had to turn on swap on upgraded system and everything started to work fine.

Hello @xxxmisko, most commonly, the high CPU usage is because of Elasticsearch. UCRM is re-indexing on boot and it can take a lot of resources.

I would try turning on UCRM and then stopping just the Elasticsearch service to see if it helps. You will of course not be able to search, but it could at least identify it's the problem.

You can stop the service with the following command:

cd /home/ucrm
sudo docker-compose stop elastic
