Unable to use the same email address for two different Clients

We have a Client that has service at her house with her personal account.

 

This Client is also the treasurer for their development's Home Owner's Association and she pays the bills for the HOA.

 

When we set up a business account for service at the HOA's clubhouse yesterday UCRM wouldn't let us use her email address because she already used it for her personal account.

 

Can we get this fixed?

I recommend a separate email be setup for the HOA account. This person may not always have the HOA position and probably shouldn't be mixed with her personal account.

Isn't this a limitation of the Ubiquiti SSO validation--

and not UCRM? I've found this to be an annoying

limitation too, because I often setup different accounts

for my clients using my email addresses--and I have

run out of addresses!   Dave

Edit the contact, then set up a username instead of using their email:

Agree with @clarkraymond
Note that you can set the same email for multiple clients but only on condition this email is not used as username which must be unique.

@Dave-D I don't see a reason for this. Why do you need to create clients with your email address? And if so, why does this email need to be used as the username?

Petr, I create accounts for with my email address so I can

provide clients with ready-to-use Ubiqutii cloud access.

If I use the client's email, they would have to play with

setup and settings because I would lose control over them..

 

I believe for SSO, the only 'username' now acceptable is

an email address. Am I missing something?  Dave

I am not sure what you mean by "Ubiqutii cloud access." and how it's related to UCRM. Anyway, I still think you don't need to use the email as username withing the UCRM app - which is the main cause of your issues. If you just add the same email to your clients and don't mark it "use as username", then everything would be all working as you need.
