not sure if this is a bug but its crazy annoying Invoice maturity days set to 7 will set any invoice

Invoice maturity days set to 7 is making any invoice be due in 7 days from when the due date is no what date it was created

so when we create an invoice for install on the 5th it will show invoice due in 7 days from that day

unless we change that to 0 then it will show due on the same day

invoices created manually should always be due the same day unless we say different

the service plans should send out invoices 7 days before the 1st and be due on the  1st of the month

what are we missing? @UBNT-Petr

Hi, in UCRM there is no difference between manual and automatic invoices in terms of the maturity days. IMO, most WISPs want to treat their clients in the same way = same maturity days both for automatic and manual invoice.

If you want to change the due date on a manual invoice, you can do it:

By default, it uses the same value (maturity days) as used for automatic invoices. There is no such a feature to configure another default value. You can make a feature request for this, but to be honest, we prefer not to make UCRM config to complicated, so unless this idea gets many votes, I am afraid it won't be implemented.

All invoices due 7 days after creating instead of 7 days before recurring invoice due date on the 1st is the very thing making UCRM complected to use

Hi @900mhzdude and @UBNT-Petr,

We have our auto service invoices set to create 10 days due, but when invoicing manually, we must change it to zero days, as manual invoices are usually for something we have done or sold, and is due at the time of service or sale.

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!

Yes if manual invoices defaults to 0 days I would be happy

It's not a huge deal but a pain to train the new guys and make sure they don't forget

Please, create a new feature request and share a link here, or elsewhere to get as many votes as possible. If it turns out this is really important for many WISPs, we will add a new option or consider another solution.

It is obvious that this is a significant annoyance, why don't you just fix it ?

When we install service we manually generate an invoice and expect payment immediately.

Sometimes we do work for customers that is non-recurring and need to immediately generate a 'Due on receipt' invoice.

Our recurring invoices are automatically sent out a week ahead of time.

We don't want an invoice that is due immediately to be marked as due in seven days.

@JWW when you manually create the first invoice for the recurring service, what due date do you expect? 0 or 7?

The question is whether you expect all the manual invoices to be due immediately no matter what they include (service, product, custom item)

Re: not sure if this is a bug but its crazy annoying Invoice maturity days set to 7 will set any inv

When we make a Quickbooks invoice there is a dropdown to set the due date on the form - it's very simple and straightforward, even on the mobile app.

And the invoice is emailed immediately.

If you make the invoice a recurring invoice you tell it the due date and how many days ahead of the due date that the invoice will be sent.

It's clear and simple and you know what is going to happen.  Even on the mobile app...

But the same thing is in UCRM in the "new invoice form":

Could be something that we didn't see in an earlier version, we'll check...

Hi @UBNT-Petr,

I can tell you that I do exactly the same routine as @JWW, and when our installers put a service in, the invoice is generated onsite, and expected to be paid, right there.
