Try manually setting a DNS server for that network.

Re: Setup Wifi not staying connected on a LiteBeam AC Gen2

Sorry to hijack this post, but I get the same problem.
I use exclusively Litebeam AC Gen2 on my networks, and since the last batch of Litebeams I received, I get the same problem.
I would complete the installation and the try to access the Litebeam via itself. Under the available ssids, I would see the Litebeam as LBE-with-the-MAC-address. When I want to connect to it, it would connect briefly to it and then disconnect. It does this everytime with the last 6 that I installed. I now go to my laptop and set it up via the Lan port on the POE.
Is there any answers to this problem?

Re: Setup Wifi not staying connected on a LiteBeam AC Gen2

Hello @Borriez,
the problem is following: iOS network manager requires full DHCP information for stable Wi-Fi connection - IP address, netmask, gateway and also DNS records. Past airMAX firmware didn't include DNS records in DHCP because they are not actually necessary, the device does not provide internet access. This issue is already fixed, tested on current airMAX firmware (v8.4.3).
You have two options:
1) Upgrade firmware on your devices
2) Go to iOS Settings > Wi-Fi > Select airMAX management SSID > Go to SSID detail (info button) and fill all available fields (probably just DNS will be empty, use the same IP here as in default gateway). It should keep Wi-Fi connection stable.

Re: Setup Wifi not staying connected on a LiteBeam AC Gen2

Good day.
Thank you very much. I will try these 2 options.
When will the Litebeams ship with the latest firmware preloaded?
