Did you install with the script provided by ubnt? If you didn't you should do it that way it's the only supported method at this time. You can find the script here:

Oops, never saw that Github page. I just installed it as any other Docker image.

Yeah, that's why it wasn't working, they recomend the script, however if you want a more manual install you can find a link to a procedure for a manual install with docker compose on that same github URL. But for testing I'd say stick with the script it's faster.

im seeing the same problem.

im using the docker "app" on a synology.. is it possible to make it work there?

the link you provided. didnt work for me

when i connected by ssh to my synology and went into docker. connected to the unms container it typed the "$ curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ubiquiti-App/UNMS/master/install.sh > /tmp/unms_install.sh && sudo bash /tmp/unms_install.sh"

it only gave me a "error" that it didnt work

Re: UNMS Docker "bad address 'unms-postgres'

The installation script needs to be run directly on the machine you have docker installed on, not in the docker container. I don't know if anyone got it working on DSM, you may try the manual docker composer method but as far as I can see composer doesn't work on DSM yet.

Re: UNMS Docker "bad address 'unms-postgres'

Hello,

I have the same problem under QNAP docker station. I succeed to get working the 0.11.3 but none of 0.12.X worked. All the containers under 0.12.X had the issue in the subject. Since it's hard to follow the procedure within the QNAP system, I was thinking if it possible to investigate why under 0.11.X the container is ok while in the 0.12.X not or if there is any file to look into the container in order to solve the issue.

Thanks

Maria

Hello guys. There is a great thread about installing UNMS on some non-supported platforms.  Synology is included there. I would suggest starting there. @techstx and others dedicated quite some time solving several issues connected with this topic.
Also please note that UNMS image expects that there is a running PostgreSQL container and it is available on `unms-postgress` address. The way to go is to create your own docker-compose.yml. You can find some good pointers here.
