Currently Signal strength is area type graph with permanent Y axis scale between 0 and 100 dB.
Variation of signal is almost invisible with this type of rendering:
Could you please change rendering of graph using min-max signal instead of 0-100dB?
Example of the same signal from the same radio as on the previous graph rendered with min-max Y-axis:
We should be able to clear the counters of how many packets are dropped or error'd.
Because at start up my ER5 appears to (always) have some packets in dropped.
So from now on, your always stuck with the stats of those packets.
Clearing the stats when the routing is up and running gives a better view of the actual packet status
Problem: My password manager pops up every time the page refreshes
Cause: The URL for logon is at https://<name--of-server>/ and the password manager triggers on same. It cannot be configured to respond ONLY on https://<name--of-server>/ and sees this as https://<name--of-server>/*
Solution: Redirect to https://<name--of-server>/logon or anything but https://<name--of-server>/ for logon. The password manager would recognize ONLY that URL and would not pop up on any other pages.
Posted in Feature Request as it's not really a bug. Password Manager is Ascendo DataVault for Windows.
All of my devices are located remotely and connect via WAN. Devices are located on 60 different sites, and here it would be a great advantage if MAC address can be seen before approval, so device can be identified.
How about a link to https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/sections/115003321288-UNMS-Ubiquiti-Network-Management-System on https://unms.com/. I would suggest a link labelled "DOCS" at the top of the page between DOWNLOAD and COMMUNITY.
Like many my network is spread out in my c ase 12 counties and growing with several main fiber feeds. I have 50+ towers I monitor via an ipsec tunnel and in this the latency etc is not accurate in regards to customer experience. I would rather be able to pick the core router in those segements to watch latency.
I'd like to see seperate UI and API ports in UNMS, similar to UI and INFORM ports in UniFi.
This would allow for separate access control to each port. i.e. when devices are on untrusted network no need to open UI access to that network.
Earlier discussion HERE
I currently have quite a few ONUs out there on the UFiber. We manage them with UNMS.
A lot of those customers also have AirCube routers. Its awesome that we can manage them both via UNMS.
However, its quite cumbersom looking up the client/device name to get to the AirCube, then having to go through the Gpon to get to the ONU.
It would be awesome if we could attach the ONU to the client, so that both the router and the ONU will show on the client page.
For the devices that have limited storage space, where upgrading can brick the device (see below explanation from here)- the ability to remove a system image BEFORE performing an upgrade from UNMS
Note: The ER-X/ER-X-SFP/EP-R6 has more limited storage, and in some cases, an upgrade may fail due to not enough space. If this happens, remove the old backup image first
(using "delete system image" command, see here for more details) before doing an upgrade.
I use ERX-SFP as switches, and would like to upgrade them centrally from UNMS, but having lost devices before due to the system image problem, need to go into each one, remove any backup image and then upgrade it manually. I would like to be able to see and delete system images from UNMS.
Hí, i'm using the UNMS to manage some devices in network of ISP in my city. There are many categories to organize this devices, but i didn't find the categorie *SSID".
This system is very good, but how i work in ISP network, organize the clients by SSID would very important.
Thus I can organized my clients by categoria SSID and I would see in wich AP each clients was connected, without open the device
In this update 0.10.3 I need open the device connection to see the SSID that clients is connected.
I think this suggestion would be very important in this case and I'm waiting for new updates.
