UNMS and use of private networks for docker to docker communication

[ Edited ]

I've been trying to figure out why some of my EdgeRouters cant be managed by UNMS.  Network routing looks fine, but from Edge Routers in question I cannot ping UNMS, but i can ping other devices on its subnet.

When I looked at UNMS I noticed very large chunks of private class b space (172.16.0.0/12) are used by UNMS docker installation.  This is a problem as my network uses the 172.16.0.0/12 space for normal operation.

IP Blocks in use (portion of netstat -rn output from host OS):
172.17.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 docker0
172.18.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 br-d1cd2b0b8957
172.19.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 br-6099d2da92ed

Is there any plans to make this adjustible in the install? I know i can manually go modify these items but it kind of defeats the whole purpose of using docker to "make deployment simple"

Also is there a reason why such huge ranges are used for just UNMS? is this something that can be trimmed down in a future release?

@ma2885 Hi Allen, thank you for this question. Yes, it's possible to set it during UNMS install. You can check this wiki page. If you would like to know more about it you can check following threads:
