Allow map graphic updates

Submitted by -
Status: New Idea

Currently if you create/obtain a better coverage map graphic you have to create a new map profile (and then remove all your APs from the old version before adding them to the new version).

It would be much better if you could simply import the updated graphic into your existing map configuration. At the moment all you can do is modify the name which is of very limited use.

It's true; it's a bit clumsy.

But if you want to 'remove' the access points from
an existing map, simply delete the map. All the
radios will be returned to the 'unplaced' list.  Dave

True and that would be a quick workaround of a sort but if you had a large installation of say 60 APs then that would be quite annoying if all you wanted to do was update the map graphic (to reflect the current state of the structure or to simply improve it in some way).

Anyway, that is why I added it as a new idea. Granted there are likely many many more important things to work on that this and I would support that. Better to get all the current features fully working as intended before you add new stuff.
