Scheduled LEDs

It would be really nice to add the possibility to turn the status leds on/off scheduled. E.G. Turn them on at 8 a.m. and off at 8 p.m..

This would be extremely helpfull .. I have AP's in places that are needed to be pitch dark at certain times and these LEDs are insanely bright lol.

Some sort of schedule for the lights would be excellent.

This feature is definately on my most wanted list, I also wish the controller can give us a way to schedule other actions (schedule to chagne SSID, AP Channel, Tx Pwr, subnet/network configs on USG etc.)

That would be awesome for during the night, as the light affects in the house. Definite +1

I'm imagining it wouldn't be hard to write a shell script to SSH into a pre-defined list(minus the one that you want to leave on) of AP and turn the LEDs off (mgmt.led_enabled=false). Then just schedule the script to run on the controller machine. I'll try to write one tonight, but still would like to see this on the controller UI Man Very Happy

I'll also chime in to seccond this. I'm using a Unifi AP at home and blue light adversely affects sleep cycle so disabling it over night would be awesome.

Thanks for your positive feedback guys, seems I am not the only one who would like that feature.

@wolfmon

Writing a script that could do that is something I thought about too, however this would be (imo) more a temporary solution and bringing this feature to the controller should, as you said, really be done by UBNT at some time. Especially considering the new In-Wall APs designed for the usage in hotel rooms.

I think college dorms are another common use case where this would be beneficial.

Yes, this would be great. Schedule - either automatically with wlan schedule or ability to create custom profiles. Also the ability to control the led individually.
