Movie Streaming?

This might be a silly question, but can the Protect (or Video) double as a movie streamer? I have all of my DVD/Blurays backed up and on a hard drive and have had several iterations of movie server, none of which have been wonderful.

It would be cool if the videos from security cams could live along side movies and could use some sort of front end to select/play them.

Thoughts?

Re: Movie Streaming?

No, the backend interface is specifically designed for surveillance. On a personal note, take a look into Kodi / Plex running on an Nvidia Shield Man Happy

Re: Movie Streaming?

Thanks, apologies for a somewhat poorly framed question.

I think it's possible to point the storage from a Cloud Key either internally, or externally to e.g. a NAS. Was wondering if one were using the Cloud Key that has the HDD inside, if that storage could be shared and also host other videos.

I already have a network drive storing videos piuctures etc, was thinking to just put that one inside of the cloud key if I could still the storage from outside.
