Protect on Windows XP machine

I have a client with a Windows XP machine they want to use for viewing Protect cameras with UCK-G2 Plus. When I try to hit the ip:7443 I get the blue login screen but it will not go anywhere. What is needed to view Protect on an old machine like this?

I don’t know what the minimum version of chrome is required, but Google stopped developing chrome for xp in early 2016

Unless they need to keep WinXP for other uses, I would suggest to install Ubuntu desktop on it.

I tried Ubuntu on this machine and it worked horribly - computer kept locking up. I went back to XP and the computer itself works fine. I have installed an old version of chrome that works, but still no Protect viewing

Re: Protect on Windows XP machine

Protect is designed to use the current stable release of Chrome, which is currently v72.

You may want to try Lubuntu if it's an older system as it's designed to be light on resources. Alternatively, you could try installing Chromium, but there are no guarantees it will work.
