I'm trying to reset my Unifi Controller and no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling is doing it. What am I missing?
I don't need to save anything, want a fresh start.
I'm using debian.

If you are virtualizing, create a snapshot of a clean install with unifi not configured. Then revert each time you want to reset. I find this method makes testing new updates/features easier - especially in lab environment.
If not, just run
apt-get remove --purge packagename
will remove about everything regarding the package unifi, but not the dependencies installed with it on installation.
Check that /var/lib/unifi does not have any config or data there.
