Editor for config.gateway (json) files Open Source ?

Anyone who knows of an editor (open source) that makes it easy to edit the config files for USG (json).

If opening the file in Notepad, line breaks are missing making it difficult to edit the content.

Never use the notepad.exe thing to edit files that originated on a *nix/Linux box.

Yeah, that results in questions on "how do I force reboot the box". Smilielol5

Does it have to be open source? Not that I don't admire the concept (Being a Linux user myself), but... Have you tried using Visual Studio? It understand json. And as mush as I might branded an M$ hater, is actually OK IMO.

Failing that, try emacs... As open-source as you can get... and there's a json plugin (Probably several) for it http://melpa.milkbox.net/#/json-mode

Sorry for bumping up "older" thread but has anybody considered config.gateway editor within a GUI?

When I was using OpenWRT based router it was possible to add/change some more advanced configuration using web interface - editor in browser window which wrote input straight to config file.
