How To Create A Lab Network From Main Networking Using An Edgerouter and A USG?

I would like to create a 'lab network' to preconfigure systems ahead of installation. I currently use a USG for my 'home network', however I would like to use an Edgerouter X SFP to distribute the ISP feed to the USG for my 'home network' and to any other test networks created. How can I accomplish this?

Sure: you can use your EdgeRouter to create one

or more LAN subnets and any router connected

to a subnet as its WAN address will have access

to the Internet if the DHCP service is correct.

But when routers are in tandem, the result is

termed 'double-NAT'. That can add complication

to your network and not all functions work fully.   Dave
