How to remove a device from Blacklist

Hello Forum,

 

I accidentally added my tablet to the blacklist and I cannot find a way to remove it.

 

- The IPS functionality was showing alerts between the tablet and what looks like a number of different Amazon servers, thinking I was going to temporarily blacklist an Amazon IP address, I actually blacklisted the tablet...

 

However, now I can't find a way to remove the tablet from the blacklist, there appears to be no functionality for this. 

 

I contacted UBNT support, who surprisingly come up with talk to the forum to find an answer!

 

 

Anyone know what to do to solve this?

in the controller.

Hi Flipper,

 

that gives a list of blocked clients, the list is empty.

 

I suspect that is because I've pressed the blacklist button under the IPS alert, not the blocked button.

Ok, got around the error... Used the Whitelist button under settings -> IPS

 

Tablet IP added to whitelist, however still no internet for device.

- I thought it would blacklist/whitelist by MAC, as IP address is variable as it is running DHCP

 

 

I've even tried disabling IPS, makes no difference...

I've been left with a unusable tablet becuase Unify Support do not support BETA functionality that has been enabled on their offically released controller software...

 

All I get is post your query on the Forums...

 

Terrible support setup, shows how bad the support in this area is...

A moment of inspiration, I remembered I had implemented daily auto backups, solved my issue with a simple restore.

 

If Ubiquti hadn't been solve blantently unhelpful and caught up in the 'we don't support BETA functionality on their officially released software', they might have been able to suggest the have you got a backup....

My faith in Unify support has been restored, I wrote to the head of the team, who responded to me offering help to address my issue.

 

Apparently, the support team responded incorrectly to my request for help and my request to speak to a manager was dealt with incorrectly as well.

 

I have been advised that support agents will deal with this differently going forward...

FYI,

 

I have been advised that the blacklists are maintained under:

 

Settings -> Routing & Firewall -> Firewall - Rules IPv4 -> WAN OUT

 

* However, I can't confirm due to my backup restore yesterday, I'm not convinced as I'm quite sure I checked this area several times...

I can confirm, it's in Routing & Firewall -> Firewall -> Rules IPv4 -> WAN OUT
