USG-3 crashing - bad flash?

I have a USG-3 that has started crashing frequently (every few days). Power has to be cycled to bring it back online. I set up netconsole and caught this last night:

2017-03-22T03:19:48.035875-04:00 usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -145

2017-03-22T03:20:39.385872-04:00 usb 1-1: device descriptor read/8, error -145
2017-03-22T03:20:44.525965-04:00 usb 1-1: device descriptor read/8, error -145
2017-03-22T03:20:49.835925-04:00 usb 1-1: device descriptor read/8, error -145
2017-03-22T03:20:54.975778-04:00 usb 1-1: device descriptor read/8, error -145
2017-03-22T03:20:55.106381-04:00 192.168.1.1 end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 1914856

Looks to me like the internal flash drive is failing, so I suspect the only solution is to replace the unit. Can anybody confirm my diagnosis?

The firmware is the latest stable, 4.3.34.
