I haven't read thru this whole topic but it seems like most issues are with Pace modems. I got ATT Fiber installed earlier this year and setup my Unifi system shorly afterward.
They gave me an Arris BGW210-700 and I have not had any issues with connectivity. I run routine speed tests and I am always at 950/950 on speedtest.net and 850/950 on DSLReports.
They've automatically updated my modem firmware a couple of times and it is currently at 1.7.17.

No that is over LAN which is where you should be doing any speed tests. On Wifi I can get 500-600Mbps. You should not be expecting gigabit speeds over wifi.
My equipment is all in my sig.

That's what I thought. I'm only getting around 400 mbps up and down wireless.

Ha... If only AT&T gave me anywhere near that. On a great day I get 600 Mbps down/up (usually more in the 450-525 Mbps range) wired from AT&T and then 200Mbps or less down/up from my UAP.

Saturday
I didn't read through this whole thread (but it has been very useful!), so I apologize if this has already been posted. I found the following link on the ATT Forums that basically acknowledges the firmware problem with no current fix. They do however have a workaround that seems to have fixed my issue until they fix the firmware.
https://forums.att.com/t5/AT-T-Fiber-Equipment/PACE-11-1-0-531418-DMZ-Issue/m-p/5745153#M7940
Hope this helps people who don't want to swap out their Gateway.

Can eapproxy be setup on the Edgerouter Lite3 as well? Anyone tried this or seen an article on how to do this on the Edgerouter?

Wow, this just grinds my gears. The speed issue was only one problem I was having, all of which I have spent the better part of a month troubleshooting. I never even considered it would be the Gateway.
I blame myself for working too hard at work, normally I skim the Ubiquiti forums while at work, but didn't for most of December. I could have solved this a long time ago. To confirm even further that it is the Gateway, I moved in December to a new place with Fiber, they came out and istalled everything, and the only equipment reused was my Gateway, still the same slow speeds.
I solved it by using the firmware downgrade. I am kicking myself because when I had service setup at my new address, the installer had a brand new gateway and I said "The old one works fine, and I have all my settings where I want them." Doh. I haven't bothered calling AT&T, but may this weekend.

Grettings I have been trying to get the bypass setup with my USG 3P. I had noticed performance issues with the network over the holidays but didn't have time to look into it. Finally did and it's the bug with the pace device.
I believe I have followed all the steps but the script errors looking for eth0.0
exception in getifhwaddr line 152 (IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/sys/class/net/eth0.0/address'); restarting in 10 seconds

with open("/sys/class/net/%s/address" % ifname) as f:
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/sys/class/net/eth0.0/address'Looking at my system I indeed don't have the net/eth0.0 directory.
My setup:
USG: 4.4.36.5146617
Controller: 5.9.29
I did the setup in the controller and confirmed that I see eth2 setup with the proper gateway address.
I have been reading through a bunch of posts but haven't found a solution to this problem, I suspect it's realted to the USG version as most posts seem to be on 4.4.29 or .32.
Any help from someone who has this working would be appreciated.

Ok I think I didn't understand that step in the instructions how do I do that? When I click on the WAN record in the network tab there is no vlan box.
Is it the new LAN2 record that I am setting vlan 0?

You're in the wrong screen, it's in your Site Settings > Networks > WAN > Common Settings > VLAN ID
