Got this small
That is my home setup ... as you can see the USG is on the shelf "autonomous" and the US‑8‑150W is hanging only on one side in my "device locker". The switch was biught in addition to my SG-200-28 for powering up two UAP-AC-v2 (will be changed to AP-AC-HD or somewhat of that) and in common future 5 IP camaras.
The layout looks following:
1U 24 patchpanel
somewhat 1U US-8-150
3U free space down
USG-PRO - WD extern drive for backup - QNAP NAS
HP Tower und 2VA/KW Eaton
Maybe it is time for an extended bracket for such users as mine (there are a lot of us)? so we can install the US-8-150 properly without going to the metalshop for making a "custom". That costs a lot of time.
And yeah - telling me to change the SG200-28 to US‑48‑500W (cuz allmost all ports on the 28p switch are occupied) is not an option. That device uses fans, that are loud as a boing. Not good for installation at small offices or homes.
A bracket for the USG would be also great.
If you wann tell me about the passive cooling and it should be standing or hangin alone somewher - forget it. It has enough airflow. nothing hinders it.
Kind regards. Hope to becomming a solution soon (otherwise will just order for further setups at the metall shop custom brackets tons of them.
My point is more that you have that fiber pulled to a very tight turn. It makes me uncomfortable lol. Sure, its MM so you can get away with it, but in theory it will reduce its lifespan. Also fiber slack is your friend.
