Small "issue". The new controller software shows one of my servers with a Vendor of Windows 98 SE when it is infact a Dell.

DING DING DING!!  We have a winner!

After doing the Java updates mentioned, I was still getting no controller on my Raspberry Pi.

Havok115's solution worked a treat!

Thanks a bunch!

Re: UniFi Network Controller 5.10.12 Stable has been released

Finding that v5.10.12 is sucking resources in my web browser. Previous v5.9.29 used less than 1% CPU in my web browser (Firefox 64) but this new one eats up 2-3% PER CORE, and with 8 cores that's 16-24% total usage! I'm guessing the Java update to v1.8.201 had something to do with it as my browser is now sluggish in Ubuntu 18.04 and it wasn't just a week ago with v5.9.29 with no other changes than the Controller and Java updates.

Upgrade option is invisible on Chrome Beta fir Android.

You can tap in the whitespace to trigger, but no box/text is visible.

Got the same thing with a workstation that has an ASUS motherboard. It originally showed as "ASUS" and later updated itself to "Windows 98 SE".

It also lists the OS as "Windows", despite running Slackware Linux.

I'm trying on the CK G2 getting

Database repair in progress. This may take several minutes.

then

Connection error. Please check your controller process state.

For what it's worth to let others know, I upgraded to 5.10.17 and "Disable and Remove Cloud Access", applied the changes and waited for a few minutes, re-connected the Cloud Access, and now it's working again!

Same with my installation with 5.10.17: unifi controller did not start on R3... update of java fixed the problem. Unifi controller is starting, but still errors:

Was that on a pie or another server type?

I tried that but still was unable to restore the cloud connection to my AWS controller.

Re: UniFi Network Controller 5.10.12 Stable has been released

After updating the controller to 5.10.17+ the issue was corrected.
