Hello, I have the Verizon FIOS Gigabit Internet Service and I'm noticing throughput issue at my UniFi Switch. I performed two tests - one at the USG on LAN Port 1, where I noticed about 700 Mbs and one at the UniFi Switch, where my throughput dropped by 200 to 300 Mbs. What could be causing throughput issues at both the Router and Switch where I'm not getting the full 1000 Mbs at least through the Router and almost to the Switch?

if you go to devices > USG > Config, is hardware offloading selected?
You know you might not be getting your full gigabit from your ISP too, right?

Yes, all three options are selected.
I understand that, but measuring from the USG, i'm getting between 700 and 800 Mbs, but when I measure at the switch, I'm getting around 400 Mbs. That's a big drop between the Router and Switch. Also, do you think because I don't have the FIOS Router in-line with the other equipment, that may be the cause?

I'm no longer on FiOS, but when I was I eliminated the Actiontec router and had a direct ethernet connection to the ONT. Everything worked great.
The only thing I can think of between your USG and switch is a cabling issue. That or you have some VLAN stuff that's slowing it down.

I noticed what's eating up my bandwidth based on testing - my guest network, which has a VLAN ID of 99. When the guest network was active, I had speeds around 500 to 600 megs. When I deleted the guest network, my speed just up to almost 900 megs. Any reason for this?
